Castle Toot, Shropshire

Castle Toot (aka Cleobury Castle) is a 12th-century motte castle by the River Rea just outside Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire. Hugh de Mortimer, the castle's owner, rebelled against Henry II and as a result the castle was destroyed in 1155. It is within the council area of Shropshire.
