Castle Dykes, Northamptonshire
Castle Dykes is the remains of a Norman motte-and-bailey castle near Farthingstone, Northamptonshire. The mound of the castle motte stands 17ft above the surrounding ditch and is about 260ft in diameter. The remains of stone walls are identifiable on the motte mound. It is within the council area of West Northamptonshire.
