Castle Dike, Yorkshire

Castle Dike is the slight remains of an Iron Age circular enclosure, situated on the flat top of Gilbert Hill near Langsett, in Yorkshire, in the West Riding. It consists of a single bank and ditch, with diameters of 100yds (N-S) and 60yds (E-W). It is within the council area of Sheffield.
