Castle Camps is a village named after a Norman Castle in the parish. The highest point in Cambridgeshire lies on a deserted WWII airfield to the south-west of the castle at 420 feet (TL632418), at the peak of a former airfield concrete track. The village is within the council area of South Cambridgeshire (Cambridgeshire).
