Castle Batch, Somerset

Castle Batch is a Norman motte castle in Worle, Somerset. The castle has a motte about 10ft high with a diameter of around 130ft. It was constructed by the Norman lord Walter of Douai between 1066-1086. It is within the council area of North Somerset.
