Castle-an-Dinas, Cornwall
Castle-an-Dinas is a small multivallate hillfort, situated at the summit of a broad hill on Tonkins Downs in Cornwall. The hillfort comprises four concentric widely-spaced ramparts and a partially-buried outer ditch, enclosing an area of approximately 3 acres. It is cut on the south-east side by an 18th-century folly known as 'Roger's Tower' which was built from stone derived from the rampart. It is within the council area of Cornwall.
