Carrignahaltora, Tyrone

Carrignahaltora is an undated settlement site, located on an east-facing slope of a high drumlin in the townland of Ballywholan, County Tyrone. The monument consists of three hut sites, all rectangular and drystone built. The monument is undated but it been suggested these may be the remains of booley huts (a kind of seasonal settlement in upland zones). The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Mid Ulster.
