Carreg Maen Taro is an ancient standing stone lying on the border of Brecknockshire and Monmouthshire. It is an irregularly shaped stone 5ft high, inscribed "M" facing Monmouthshire and "B" facing Brecknockshire. It is within the council area of Torfaen.
