Carpenders Park, Hertfordshire
Carpenders Park is a suburban area to the south of Watford in Hertfordshire. Carpenders Park was originally an estate based around a manor house. The housing was built principally in the 1930s, the 1950s and the 1960s. Many of the 1960s houses have flat roofs, the area being the basis of the fictional Plummers Park in Leslie Thomas' Tropic of Ruislip. It is within the council area of Three Rivers (Hertfordshire).
