Carnany, Antrim

Carnany is a suburban area in the east of Ballymoney, County Antrim. It is within the townland of Carnany Lower, in the civil parish of Ballymoney. Carnany Lower townland remained largely rural until the mid 20th century, since when it has been developed for suburban housing. The area usually referred to as 'Carnany' lies in the south-east of the townland. The area is within the council area of Causeway Coast and Glens.
