Carnalea, Down
Carnalea is a suburban area on the north-western outskirts of Bangor, in County Down. It is within the townlands of Ballykillare and Carnalea, in the civil parish of Bangor. The area developed as a prosperous suburb after the opening of Carnlea Railway Station in 1877, becoming contiguous with Bangor in the second half of the 20th century. The area is within the council area of Ards and North Down.
