Camlough, Armagh

Camlough is a large village, lying on the Camlough River in County Armagh. It is within the townlands of Cross and Carrickcroppan, in the civil parish of Killevy. The village was developed at the time of the Plantation by Henry McShane O'Neill. From the mid 18th century, the village grew around the linen industry. The village is within the council area of Newry, Mourne and Down.
