MenuCaledon, Tyrone
Caledon is a small village, lying on the River Blackwater in County Tyrone. It is within the townland of Caledon, in the civil parish of Aghaloo. It is believed that Captain Hamilton, the late 17th-century landowner, renamed Kinnaird to Caledon as a tribute to his home land – Caledonia. The village is within the council area of Mid Ulster.
