Calderstones Park, Lancashire

Calderstones Park is a public park in Liverpool, Lancashire. Calderstones Mansion House was built in 1828 for Joseph Need Walker, a lead shot manufacturer. In 1902 the MacIver family Bequeathed the estate to Liverpool Corporation who transformed it into the public park. The Calderstones are six neolithic sandstone boulders remaining from a dolmen. The park is within the council area of Liverpool.
