Caldecote is a village in Warwickshire. The village was recorded in the 1086 Domesday Book as being in the ownership of the Bishop of Chester. Caldecote Hall was the home of Parliamentarian Colonel William Purefoy during the Civil War and was damaged by Royalist siege in 1642. The Hall, rebuilt in 1880, is now private flats. The village is within the council area of North Warwickshire (Warwickshire).
