Caer-din Ring, Shropshire
Caer-din Ring is an Iron Age or Romano-British settlement near Newcastle, Shropshire. The monument includes the earthwork and buried remains of a small enclosed Iron Age or Romano-British settlement, the remains of an ancient field boundary and round barrow, together with remains of ridge-and-furrow cultivation. The enclosed settlement occupies a commanding position on the summit of a hill overlooking the Folly Brook valley. It is within the council area of Shropshire.
