Bury Camp, Wiltshire

Bury Camp is an Iron Age multivallate hillfort in north-west Wiltshire. It occupies a triangular promontory of Colerne Down, at the southern edge of the Cotswold Hills between two spurs of a river valley. The enclosed area of approximately 25 acres is surrounded by a ditch 12ft wide and up to 3ft deep, and an outer rampart up to 6ft high. It is within the council area of Wiltshire.
