Burrow Walls, Cumberland
Burrow Walls (aka Magis) is a Roman fort in Cumberland. It is situated between Workington and Seaton and is reasonably well preserved. It forms part of the ‘Western Sea Defences’, a line of forts and watch-towers strung along the north-western coastline of Cumberland. It is within the council area of Cumberland.
