Burnt Walls, Northamptonshire
Burnt Walls is an ancient earthwork near Daventry, Northamptonshire. The remains consist of a roughly triangular enclosure bounded on the south-west by a bank 6ft high with an external ditch 6ft deep and a low counterscarp bank beyond. The monument is undated and has been considered as a possible Iron Age or early mediæval defensive site, or possibly the site of a mediæval castle or moated manor. The monument is within the council area of West Northamptonshire.
