Netteswell is a former village that is now an urban area on the northern edge of Harlow, Essex. Originally the site of a mill on the River Stort Navigation, Burnt Mill grew into a village following the opening of Burnt Mill railway station (now Harlow Town Station) in 1842, with housing developed to the north and south of the station. The streets of the village to the south of the station were demolished as part of the Harlow new town developments and the name is now used for this part of Harlow. It is within the council area of Harlow (Essex).
