Burns Cottage, Ayrshire

Burns Cottage is an 18th-century thatched cottage, the birthplace of Robert Burns in 1759, located in Alloway, Ayrshire. The cottage was built by Robert Burns' father, William Burnes in 1757 and is a four-roomed clay and thatch cottage. It is in the care of the National Trust for Scotland. It is within the council area of South Ayrshire.
