MenuBunn's Bank, Norfolk
Bunn's Bank is an ancient earthwork that runs for about two miles to the south-east of Attleborough, Norfolk. According to legend, it was built by King Edmund in the 9th century, to help defend his 'royal town' against the marauding Danes. Whilst its age and purpose are not known, it is usually assumed to to date from the Saxon period. It is within the council area of Breckland (Norfolk).
