Bucknall, Staffordshire

Bucknall is a suburban village in Staffordshire. It lies to the south-east of Hanley. An ancient settlement, Bucknall became a centre for coal mining in recent centuries. In the 20th century it saw significant suburban development. St Mary's Church dates from 1853. It is within the council area of Stoke-on-Trent.
