Bruce Castle, Middlesex
Bruce Castle is a 16th-century manor house in Tottenham, Middlesex. The house is one of the oldest surviving English brick houses. It was remodelled in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. A detached, cylindrical Tudor tower south-west of the house is considered to be the earliest part of the building. The grounds are a public park. The house was home to Sir Rowland Hill. It is within the council area of Haringey.
