Brockhampton Manor House, Herefordshire
Brockhampton Manor House (aka Lower Brockhampton House) is a moated mediæval manor house lying within the Brockhampton Park estate in Herefordshire. Lower Brockhampton House is the manorial house of a lesser gentry family, built soon after 1400 within a moated site. It is entirely timber-framed and consists of a hall and cross-wing. The house had fallen into a state of disrepair by the 1860s when a major phase of restoration was undertaken. The ruins of a 12th-century chapel stand alongside the manor house. The site is in the care of the National Trust. The house is within the council area of County of Herefordshire.
