Broad Stone, Gloucestershire

Broad Stone is a prehistoric limestone standing stone situated on the northern bank of the River Severn between two inlets known as Horse Pill and Waldings Pill, in Gloucestershire. It has a height of approximately 8 ft and is set within a 6 ft diameter erosion hollow which has exposed the series of packing stones around the base. It is within the council area of Forest of Dean (Gloucestershire).
