Brinkburn Priory, Northumberland

Brinkburn Priory is a former monestary situated on a bend of the River Coquet in Northumberland. A 12th-century Augustinian priory and a later manor house built from part of the monastic remains. The priory church survived the dissolution of the monasteries because it was also a parish church and was restored in the 19th century. It is within the council area of Northumberland.
