Brierfield, Lancashire

Brierfield is a small town in Lancashire. The towns development followed the building of the Liverpool and Leeds Canal, the Blackburn to Addingham turnpike road and the railway line from Preston to Colne. The town is known for its part in the Quaker movement. The bridge over Pendle Water is called Quakers in Pendle Bridge The town is within the council area of Pendle (Lancashire).
