Bridlington, Yorkshire
Bridlington is a seaside resort town in Yorkshire, in the East Riding. Bridlington Quay is the home of the tourist area and the harbour. Bridlington Spa opened in 1896 and has played host to the best known entertainers of many generations. Bridlington Priory is named after the Augustinian Priory on which it was built. Bridlington is also a minor sea-fishing port, known for shellfish. Near the town is Sewerby Hall, a Georgian country house set in 50 acres of landscaped gardens. The town is within the council area of East Riding of Yorkshire.
