Breckon Howe, Yorkshire
Breckon Howe is a gritstone boundary stone between the parishes of Eskdaleside-cum-Uggle-barnby and Goathland in Yorkshire, in the North Riding. The stone was erected following an action brought by the Lord of the Manor of Sleights against the Lord of the Manor of Goathland to determine the boundary, and thus the extent of sheep grazing rights. The stone is incribed "Goathland boundary determined at York Assizes 1813". It is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
