Bradwell, Buckinghamshire

Bradwell is an ancient village in Buckinghamshire. It was listed in Domesday as 'Bradewelle'. The village was adjacent to Bradwell Abbey, a Benedictine priory, founded in 1155 and dissolved in about 1540. Since the 1970s Bradwell has formed a part of the new town of Milton Keynes, a district and a civil parish of which bear its name. The village is within the council area of Milton keynes.
