Bradford-on-Avon Tithe Barn, Wiltshire
Bradford-on-Avon Tithe Barn is an early 14th-century coursed rubble and ashlar tithe barn at Barton Farm, Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire. It was part of a mediæval grange belonging to Shaftesbury Abbey. Following the Dissolution the grange became a farm and the barn remained in use until 1974. The timber cruck roof spans 14 bays divided by A-shaped trusses supporting 100 tons of stone tiles. It is within the council area of Wiltshire.
