Bradford, Yorkshire

Bradford is a city in Yorkshire, in the West Riding. Bradford rose to prominence during the 19th century as an international centre of textile manufacture, becoming the "wool capital of the world". Bradford has fine Victorian architecture including the grand Italianate City Hall and the former Wool Exchange. The city has a heritage in films and is the location of the National Media Museum. The city is within the council area of Bradford.
