Boxgrove Priory, Sussex

Boxgrove Priory is a ruined 12th-century priory in Boxgrove, Sussex. The Priory was founded about 1123 by Robert de Haia, Lord of Halnacre by gift of the king. At the Dissolution. there were eight priests and one novice. The Priory church is still in use as the Church of St Mary and St Blaise. There are standing remains of the 12th-century guest hall. The monument is within the council area of Chichester (West Sussex).
