Bosworth Field is the site of the Battle of Bosworth (22nd August 1485) near Market Bosworth, Leicestershire. The exact location of the battlefield is a matter of some controversy. This location relates to the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre on Ambion Hill, near Richard's Well, where, according to legend, Richard III drank on the day of the battle. It is within the council area of Hinckley and Bosworth (Leicestershire).
