Borehamwood, Hertfordshire

Borehamwood is a commuter town situated in southern Hertfordshire. The town is famous for its association with the British film industry, the first studio opening in 1917. The many film and television studios in and around the town have long been collectively known as "Elstree Studios", Borehamwood have originally been a small hamlet in Elstree civil parish. The town is within the council areas of Hertsmere district and Hertfordshire county council.
