Bordon, Hampshire

Bordon is a former garrison town situated within the ancient royal Woolmer Forest in eastern Hampshire. Formerly an area of copse and heathland, the first Bordon Camp was established in 1899, the town developing alongside the camp. The Bordon Garrison closed in 2015, following which the town was further developed as as "eco-town". The town is within the council area of East Hampshire (Hampshire).
