Bokerley Ditch, Wiltshire / Dorset
Bokerley Ditch (aka Bokerley Dyke) is an ancient linear earthwork traversing Bokerley Down and Martin Down, for much of its length forming the Wiltshire - Dorset border. It runs from north of Woodyates, south-eastwards to Blagdon Hill Wood, with all but the north-west section forming the county border. Bokerley Dyke is believed to have its origin in the Bronze Age or Early Iron Age. It is within the council areas of Dorset and New Forest (Hampshire).
