Bocombra, Armagh
Bocombra is a former hamlet that is now a suburban area in the east of Portadown, County Armagh. It is within the townland of Bocombra, in the civil parish of Seagoe. Bocombra townland remained largely rural until the mid 20th century, the hamlet being spread along the main east-west road through the townland (now Old Lurgan road). Since then the western part of the townland has been developed as a suburb of Portadown. Bocombra Primary School opened in 1976. A few buildings from the old hamlet survive. The area is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
