Bochym Manor, Cornwall

Bochym Manor is a Jacobean and Gothic Revival manor house near Cury, Cornwall. The current house has been expanded and remodelled over centuries, with the earliest parts dating to the late mediæval period. Significant alterations were made in 1699 by the Bellot family, and in 1825, when Stephen Davey purchased the property and began a period of extensive restoration. The property sits on approximately 18 acres of land with extensive grounds, including historic landscaped gardens, woodlands, waterfalls, and 13 holiday cottages converted from early Victorian farm buildings. The house features architectural details from the 17th to 19th centuries, including a Jacobean oak staircase, a walnut-panelled library, and about 20 fireplaces.
