MenuBo'ness, West Lothian
Bo'ness (properly Borrowstounness) is a coastal town in West Lothian. Formerly a centre of heavy industry, coal mining and a major port, Bo'ness is now primarily a commuter town. The waterfront area is now primarily used for leisure purposes. The modern town includes several former villages including Kinneil. Kinneil House, built by the powerful Hamilton family in the 15th century. It sits within a public park, which also incorporates a section of the Roman Antonine Wall. The town is within the council area of Falkirk.
