Blendon, Kent

Blendon is a former hamlet that is now an suburban area to the south of Bexleyheath, Kent. Blendon Hall was built in 1763, the hamlet developing to its north. The area saw large-scale suburban development in the 1930s, the hall being demolished in the process. The Chapel House dates from the 18th century. Jays Cottages date from the end of the 18th century. The area is within the council area of Bexley.
