Blackstone's Low, Derbyshire

Blackstone's Low is a Bronze Age bowl barrow on Ballidon Moor in the south-eastern uplands of the limestone plateau of Derbyshire. The monument has a well-preserved mound measuring 75ft by 65ft and standing about 6ft high. This was partially excavated by Thomas Bateman in 1849 and found to contain human remains and artefacts dateable to the Bronze Age. It is within the council area of Derbyshire Dales (Derbyshire).
