Blackheath Park is a suburban area in the south-east of Blackheath, Kent. The estate was developed in the late 18th and early 19th centuries by John Cator on the land of the former Wricklemarsh Manor. It contains large and refined Georgian and Victorian houses. St Michael and All Angels' Church (1830) is known as the Needle of Kent in honour of its tall, thin spire. Morden College, now a retirement home, was founded by philanthropist Sir John Morden in 1695 as a home for "poor Merchants". The area is within the council area of Greenwich.
