Blackbury Camp, Devon
Blackbury Camp (aka Blackbury Castle) is an Iron Age hillfort, situated to the south-west of Southleigh, Devon. The camp sits on a ridge overlooking valleys formed by tributaries of the River Coly. The camp consists of an oval enclosure, around 660ft long and 330ft wide, surrounded by a rampart 10ft high and up to 35ft wide. The monument is in the care of English Heritage. It is within the council area of East Devon (Devon).
