Bishopbriggs, Lanarkshire
Bishopbriggs is a town in Lanarkshire. Bishopbriggs grew from a small rural village on the old road from Glasgow to Kirkintilloch and Stirling during the 19th century. Bishopbriggs is notable for its superior Victorian villas, its inter-war art deco 'Garden Suburb' on the former Kenmure Estate, and its post-war private housing developments. The town is within the council area of East Dunbartonshire.
