Bishop's Green, Hampshire

Bishop's Green is a village, lying south of the River Enborne in Hampshire. The village is primarily a post-war construction, with the housing built on land which had been used for wartime military housing. The name was taken from the ancient hamlet of Bishop's Green which lies north of the river in Berkshire. The village is within the council area of Basingstoke and Deane (Hampshire).
