Bishop's Court, Devon

Bishop's Court is a large country house and former bishops palace at Sowton, Devon. It was built in the 13th century and was a palace of the bishops of Exeter from the 13th century to the 16th century. Considerable amounts of the 13th-century fabric survive, as does the 14th-century tithe barn. It is within the council area of East Devon (Devon).
