Bishop's Castle, Shropshire
Bishop's Castle is a small market town in Shropshire. The town is within an agricultural area and has also become known for its alternative community including artists, musicians, writers and craftspeople. Only a single wall remains of the castle itself. Bishop's Castle Town Hall was constructed in the 17th century. The Three Tuns Brewery was established on its current site in 1642, making it the oldest licensed brewery site in Britain. The town is within the council area of Shropshire.
