Birkenhead Park, Cheshire

Birkenhead Park is a major public park in Birkenhead, Cheshire. It was designed by Joseph Paxton and opened on 5 April 1847. The park contains many listed buildings, including the Grand Entrance (designed by Lewis Hornblower), the Swiss Bridge and the Roman Boathouse pavillion. It is within the council area of Wirral.
